Old School Archive updated and upgraded

After a massive archeological dig, we've found some more videos to put up. In this case, a 1995 instructional video the original "Ironmen" came out with to show woods techniques. To be honest, most of the video is the team walking the field over and over again, and coming up with a game plan. To this day, I don't get how they figured out how they came up with the numbers they did.

What we have on the site is the opening montage, as well as the staged game that demonstrates some of the tactics they talked about in the video. "Some", because the video doesn't talk about most of the things they use in the game. But watch for individual skills like tree walking, sliding out, bumping up bunkers, and crawling techniques. Also look for how the team should work, with everyone supporting each other.

Oh, for all the folks who weren't around, they're wearing "Sandanaflague" camo (except Dave "Youngblood", who's wearing all black) and shooting Autocockers. And for reference, you really should put a cover on your air tank. You can hear Shane's tank scrape along the rocks and sand when he slides. Not pleasant. You can see the new videos at http://webdog.specialopspaintball.com/video/oldschool/ Scroll to the tournament section, and look under the first ESPN game for "The Ultimate Concept".

Also in this update, the "Old School" archives got a little bit of a facelift. We got an e-mail a while ago about some of the videos vanishing. That was my fault when we moved to the new server. So as of this update, both Nightline videos, the Fred Schultz video and the Tom Kaye video is back up and running. That was bad code on my part, and it's fixed.

More FPS is on the way!
